I had the pleasure of shooting Mel Curry this week. She was an absolute ray of sunshine in both her attitude and willingness to stay competitive throughout her adversities. Mel lost the lower part of her leg due to an illness and she now competes in Wheelchair Tennis.

A group of adults each try to match the feat of the young George Washington by throwing a stone accross the Rappahannock River during a birthday celebration at Ferry Farm, Washington's boyhood home.
Had another wrestling assignment on Saturday, this time headed up north for the NW tournament held at Forest Park High School. The place was packed with area high school wrestlers, students and fans.
